JT Stodd Credentials:
Jim Stodd offers seasoned experience as an organizational planning and design consultant, change agent, and executive. He has assisted numerous clients develop the organizational architecture, designs and infrastructure required to achieve their strategic visions and goals. In addition, he has assisted other organizations build strategically-focused and highly successful human resource management programs by introducing forward thinking approaches to people management issues.
Jim’s experience extends over a diverse mix of clients including those in the manufacturing, healthcare, bio-tech, technology, software development, education, human service, design & construction, and professional service sectors. In addition to using his extensive experience to advise clients regarding effective organization planning and design, he has gained special expertise in change management, business process transformation, technology systems selection, employee selection, employee retention and employee engagement, compensation & reward, performance management, and administrative human resource issues.
Before starting an independent consulting practice in 2001, Jim spent over 15 years in senior executive positions responsible for human resources, organization development and change management. In addition, he was associated with several leading professional service firms including Ernst & Young, LLP, Hay Management Consultants, and First Transitions, Inc.
JT Stodd Education:
His educational preparation includes a B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University and a M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Illinois State University. He also completed extensive post-graduate work at the Industrial Relations Center of the University of Minnesota specializing in Organization Behavior and Human Resource Management. Jim has earned lifetime certification as a “Senior Professional in Human Resources” (SPHR) awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
JT Stodd - Teacher/Author/Speaker:
Throughout his career Jim has been a teacher and speaker. He currently teaches classes in Organizational Planning, Change Management and Human Resource Management at the University of California-Irvine. Previously he served on the faculties of Roosevelt University, the University of Phoenix, the Chicago Institute for Financial Management, and Illinois State University. He has been a featured speaker for the Louisiana Hospital Association’s annual conference and a keynote speaker for the Annual Conference of the Southern Management Association (American Academy of Management). Finally Jim has authored several articles on organization management and is a contributing author to a graduate-level textbook entitled The Handbook of Human Resource Management (Blackwell Publishers, 1995).

Activities in leadership & governance roles, Jim has served on the Board of Directors for several organizations in Orange County. In addition, we maintain ongoing affiliations with other capable consulting organizations, including Consultants Link, Inc. and First Transitions, Inc.
